Hello everyone,

As you have probably noticed, uploading has become slower and more infrequent around here for the past few months.

When we opened the blog 3 years ago, it was just a fun project and a way for us to spread love for J-Hope and BTS. We never predicted how successful BTS would become, and though we’re very proud of the boys, we are only a team of 2!

Our team has since remained only the 2 of us because we are friends and were reluctant to bring in someone we are not familiar with. However, this is no longer an efficient way for FY!J-HOPE to be run and all things must eventually change!

But that’s enough chatter. As we now recognize we need more help, we’re looking to recruit 1-2 admins ASAP.

Some of the things we’re looking for, dates, and other details are under the cut!

Responsibilities and what we’re looking for:

Firstly, as mentioned above, this blog started as a fun project run by two friends who love BTS. That’s all. It’s not that we expect for us all to become best friends, but above all, we need someone who is friendly and genuinely wants to work with us. You must be willing to communicate and work cooperatively with our small team. Surely we will get along well—admins don’t bite, we promise!

The main thing you will be responsible for is assisting in uploading relevant media to the blog (ex. J-Hope’s selcas, official photos, fantaken photos and videos, etc..)

Answering Tumblr messages to the best of your ability. And, when you’re not sure, letting another admin know about the message so we can help answer it.

Lastly, we try (re: t r y) to keep the Links and Tags pages up to date as best we can. This isn’t required for you to do, but it would be a great help if you want to take on something extra!

Requirements:

• Be a fan of BTS, of course! You must be very familiar with J-Hope and BTS and their fansites.
• Have a good understanding of Tumblr and FY!J-HOPE itself (ex. how to create posts and how posts are formatted and tagged here—we’ll go over basic procedures when you join the team!)
• Have free time and are flexible, especially during the week (Monday-Friday).
• Committed to updating the blog consistently.
• Will communicate regularly with the admin team (we’re very team-oriented that way!)
• Be fluent in English.

Assets (not required, but preferable):

• Have a LINE account that you check at least once a day. This is mainly how we keep in contact. However, you may still apply if you do not have one.
• Have past and/or current experience with running a FY blog.

The application deadline is November 23rd, 2016. Allow us until November 27th to review all the applications and choose our next admin(s)!

Please note that we greatly appreciate everyone who applies, but will only be responding to the 1-2 accepted applicants. Acceptance email(s) will be sent by 9PM EST on Sunday, November 27th.

If we don’t choose you this time, never fear! The blog will only continue to grow in the future, at which time we will need to bring on more admins again. ^^
